Diaphragm valve, Actuators
Diaphragm valve
Diaphragm Valves Manufacturer Diaphragm Valves are designed and manufactured as per BS 5156. They are widely utilized in water treatment plants, fertilizer & petrochemical industries, pharmaceutical units, chemical process units, refineries and power plants. They are most appropriate for positive pressure and high vacuum conditions. An extensive range of materials are available to handle almost all operations within its pressure-temperature limitations.
Total wet area and working parts are kept from coming in contact with the working media by appropriate lining with different qualities of Rubber; PTFE/PFE etc. to make it certain that it handles extremely corrosive fluids efficiently and safely.
Maintenance of these Valves is extremely simple. By dismantle the Bonnet from the Body, the whole Trim Assembly can be taken out for maintenance while the Body will remain in the Pipeline. Hence the design allows online maintenance to save time and energy. Its linear flow characteristics, makes it perfect for throttling or modulating operations. On/off and control automation is supplied with Pneumatic Actuators or Cylinders.
Industrial Valves Diaphragm Valves are supplied in a wide-ranging material like Cast Iron, S.G. Iron, Cast Carbon Steel, and Stainless Steel of all grades, High Alloy Steels like Ally-20, CD4MCu, and Hastelloy etc. Size range starts from 15NB to 250NB and pressure rating range from ASME 125# / 150# / PN.
Actuators
Diaphragm valves can be controlled by various types of actuators e.g. manual, pneumatic, hydraulic, electric etc. The most common diaphragm valves use pneumatic actuators; in this type of valve, air pressure is applied through a pilot valve into the actuator which in turn raises the diaphragm and opens the valve. This type of valve is one of the more common valves used in operations where valve speed is a necessity.
Hydraulic diaphragm valves also exist for higher pressure and lower speed operations. Many diaphragm valves are also controlled manually.
