Asbestos rope was commonly used in construction as gaskets, or seals that fill the space between two adjacent surfaces. Rope and rope packing are insulation materials that are used to seal and protect boilers, pipes and heaters from fire.

Description
Leveraging on our industrious experience, we offer asbestos braided ropes in standard as well as in customer specific options. These are manufactured using white Chrysotile yarn twisted around in m/c. We make use of our finest quality asbestos yarn. These Asbestos rope is also known as Asbestos cord, line, cable, lead, twine, string.

Asbestos ropes are widely used in the heavy machinery industry in the processes of heat insulation of pipes and boiler sealing, hot blast valves, blue cap doors. They can be effectively used in applications with temperature up to 350 degree Celsius beyond which it starts to crumble. Moreover, these are widely acknowledged for their higher efficiency, low cost maintenance and consistent output.

Rockwool


Rockwool fibres  are inorganic and composed mainly of silica and alumina, Rockwool is manufactured from various types of rock  of predetermined chemical compositions which is melted at super high temperature in a technically advanced Cupola, The resulting molten alumino-silicate is drum spun at very high speed to produce “ROCK FIBRES”
that are bonded together with a thermosetting resin and Additives.

The fibres  are also sprayed with  binder’s  to make fibres retain its shape and prevent shrinkage during storage. The fibres are also impregnated with special additives to keep it water repellent.

horizon conductivity is the main product feature of any thermal insulation. As per ASTM C-335, ASTM C-177 / ASTM C-518, the coefficient of thermal conductivity shows the insulating capacity. Rockwool products offer extremely low thermal conductivity as tested in accordance with ASTM C -335 and ASTM C-177 /ASTM C-518 (ISO 8302 / ISO 8301) equivalent to BS – 874.

Calcium silicate


calcium silicate from HIL , India  is suitable for thermal insulation in furnace, cave dwelling of steel mill, petrochemical, ceramics, glass, cement industries and power industries as well as other various ancillary heating equipment.

The main constituents of calcium silicate  is xonotlite and reinforced glass fiber, no asbestos. It is a kind of high efficient energy-saving material with temperature limited    800 oC -1100oC . Characterised by low bulk density, high specific strength, superior heat resistance, outstanding thermal insulation, excellent durability, chemical corrosion resistance, easy to be cut by saw and easy installation, calcium silicate can be widely used for the insulation of industrial kiln.

Properties of  calcium silicate :
